Cory Holmes, a senior foward for Gilbert Higley, has been selected by 365 Sports to play for the USA Basketball Team in the 2009 Italian Shootout.
The showcase tournament takes place in Italy.
Holmes averaged 7.5 points per game last season on 62 percent shooting from the field for the Knights.
