Scottsdale Saguaro defensive tackle Corey Adams will not announce his college choice at halftime of the Under Armour All-American Game on Sunday.
Adams was set to choose between USC, Arizona State and Ohio State, but has not yet made up his mind and will not make a decision. ESPN wanted to know in advance to set things up for the presentation, but Adams decided to wait.
He is one of the most recruited players in the nation and had scholarship offers from nearly every major college.
Saguaro coach John Sanders said it was a good decision to hold off.
“It’s a gigantic life decision,” Sanders said. “Corey’s unnafected by (the hoopla).”
